We took a very nice walk in Slottsskogen last weekend. It is the biggest park-forest in the center of Gothenburg, with a huge playground “Plikta” for kids. I have never checked that part of the park out carefully before. During our walk I realized how fun it would be to play there.
Something very interesting at the playground were the small cabins that are full of toys, bikes and kick scooters, with a sign saying “You can play with them as much as you want, just put them back.” Isn’t this one of the coolest things about Sweden?
Another cottage was the activity cottage. There kids can follow the activity schedule and join in with different activities like coloring, solving puzzles, exercising, and learning information about animals. All children between 6-16 are welcome to take part in these activities.
