38th Gothenburg International Film Festival starts next weekend. Since the day it was first launched in 1979, it is the largest annual film event in Nordic countries. Aside from the hundreds of films from all around the world, the festival also offers many interesting seminars, and art and music events.
We are throwing a housewarming party on Saturday, and I haven’t made any preparations aside from unpacking the last boxes to make the apartment look ready for it.

I visited the ‘Book & Library Fair’ on Saturday. It takes place every year in Gothenburg at Gothia Towers, and this was its 30th year. This year the focus was on Brazilian writers. There were many stands from different publishers, and many interesting books around, from second-hand ones to newly-published ones. There were also interesting seminars and discussions going on all weekend.
On our last week in Gothenburg before the vacation, it was culture week in the city. There were many concerts at the main square, many small art installations all around the city and a great food court in a few locations that had a wide variety of food from world cuisine. [Read more]
While Pınar was visiting us in Gothenburg we took every opportunity to fill our days with creativity. We went to concerts and festivals, had spontaneous swimming adventures, had thoughts about future, planned our upcoming projects, walked around the whole city and most importantly did lots of fun photo shooting!

I love fresh bedrooms. Since I always try to keep my bedroom organized, I like to have no more than a few decoration items in the room. If possible, there shouldn’t be loads of clothes around, except a few that are hanging nicely as part of the concept. These bedroom inspirations are exactly how I like mine to be; simple, tidy, and welcoming to spend time in the room.
