We are throwing a housewarming party on Saturday, and I haven’t made any preparations aside from unpacking the last boxes to make the apartment look ready for it.
I have been in Arsuz, Iskenderun since last Saturday, where I am staying at my grandmother’s summer house by the seaside, with her and my aunt. This is the place I have spent all my summers since I was 15.
Our friend Pinar came to visit us from Istanbul for a couple of days. We took a road trip to Hamburgsund on Sunday, which is a small town 150 km north of Gothenburg. We caught the last day of the Clandestino Botnik festival, listened to a few performances, enjoyed the festival area and continued our trip to discover a few more secret places on Bohuslän, which is a beautiful coast and probably the best landscape in Sweden.
Last Saturday I met the girls to have brunch at the city. We wanted to try a place we have never been before, so we went to Steinbrenner & Nyberg. It was a bakery chain originally, but they have a cafe in the city center. Their cakes have a very good reputation in Gothenburg.
