What I love about Scandinavian homes is that they all are decorated in a very minimalistic style. The spaces are used very efficiently and designed mostly in white because of the dark and long winter days. In particular kitchens need to be designed smartly since they should be inspirational for cooking and welcoming for family and friends.
Tellkiddo is a lovely shop on Etsy where you can find many illustrated items. Besides the beautiful prints and the greeting cards, I found these paper bags very creative and useful. You can check out the shop for room decoration and nursery items.
I’ve always liked littala, which is a Finnish brand that started as a glass factory ın 1881 and have today expanded their offerings to essential daily objects such as plates, glasses, mugs, coffee cups, kitchen towels, etc. My interest in their design increased when a friend of mine gave me the blue Taika mug as a present. Since then, I have had a special interest in the Taika series. I have learned that ‘Taika’ means ‘magic’ in Finnish, and the illustration of this series is done by Klaus Haapaniemi. All the different colors match so well with the figures.
Who says that fun tattoos are permanent ones?
It is possible to wear nicely designed temporary tattoos wherever you like on your body. Tattly has a great variety of temporary tattoos that are printed with vegetable-based ink and are non-toxic. They are so beautiful that you’ll want them to stay on you forever.
I love fresh bedrooms. Since I always try to keep my bedroom organized, I like to have no more than a few decoration items in the room. If possible, there shouldn’t be loads of clothes around, except a few that are hanging nicely as part of the concept. These bedroom inspirations are exactly how I like mine to be; simple, tidy, and welcoming to spend time in the room.
I discovered Naked Lunge’s Instagram account a while ago. I am in love with every picture they share, and every item they create.
