Dirty Records

We went to Dirty Records after work on Friday. Every week there are different local bands giving a one-hour mini concert at this record shop/café. That day it was Snake Oil Peddlers.

What I love about this shop is that it gives a home-like feeling. There are records in beer boxes all over, posters on the walls, and non-identical chairs and tables dotted around, which makes people feel comfortable. This record shop shares the same area with Café Santa Domingo, which makes everything even better.

We got our coffees and found a cosy couch to listen to the band. I liked their songs very much. The mini concert was free, but it was optional to leave some ‘thank you tips’ in a hat.

After the concert we checked the records and chatted a bit more. I haven’t been here for a long time, but I decided to follow the events and go there more often from now on.
