I visited the ‘Book & Library Fair’ on Saturday. It takes place every year in Gothenburg at Gothia Towers, and this was its 30th year. This year the focus was on Brazilian writers. There were many stands from different publishers, and many interesting books around, from second-hand ones to newly-published ones. There were also interesting seminars and discussions going on all weekend.
As you have probably noticed, I got a new hairstyle when I was in Turkey. I was longing for bangs for a while, which I had a few years back and loved them so much. It is a bit hard to maintain, but I find them very stylish. [Read more]
We moved to the new apartment on Saturday. It took us days to pack our stuff and the whole Saturday to move it. This is the fourth time I am moving to another flat in Gothenburg, and every time it gets more painful since I increasingly have more stuff. We got professional help this time though, so things went smoother and faster.
We are moving to a new apartment at the weekend. Everything is in boxes now. This lovely place of ours which we have been living in for over two years does not feel like home anymore.
I did something crazy – I registered myself and Barış on a Japanese language course for new beginners.
I have spent the last week of my vacation in Çıralı with the family. Çıralı is a small village in a rural area near Antalya. We have been spending a week in this place every year for a long time. We always stay at the same bed and breakfast place Yavuz Hotel which is run by a family who we became friends with.
The best piece I got this summer is this skirt from the Pop Boutique in Gothenburg. These kinds of fashion pieces make me keep an eye on their collection often, since I would not like to miss such a beauty.
