I have been attending a French course, two hours a week, for the last two years. My French doesn’t improve much if I don’t put some effort in though; study for a few hours a week, listen to some French songs, or watch French movies.
The 18 kilometer hiking we did a few weeks ago didn’t kill us, but rather made us even stronger. This weekend we were ready for new adventures, so we looked extensively for hiking routes around Gothenburg, and bought two pairs of lovely The North Face hiking shoes.
One of the most fun things (or maybe the only thing) to do in Gothenburg before Christmas is to visit Liseberg. Although this amusement park is best in the summer, it is remarkably fun even during winter. Rides are not open during this period, but the whole park is full of Christmas decorations in the scent of cinnamon and raisins with Christmas songs playing everywhere. Traditional foods and drinks are sold on every corner and it is also a good opportunity for Christmas shopping. Liseberg is open from mid-November until Christmas every year.
We have a wonderful view this morning – the snow is finally here! Before the cleaning car arrives and takes the snow off the road, I went out and captured some nice shots of this beauty.
